We have partnered with Reid State Park to create a "Friends" group to provide support and resources to the park staff. At this date, we have over 70 Georgetowners signed up. We have created an Advisory Group and are working with Haylee Parsons, the Park Manager, to develop the program.

We have teamed up to clear all the brush and trees surrounding the old Stone School House on Seguinland Road (see the result here) and are working with Haylee and State Park resources to develop a Learning Center in the old concession building at Griffith Head.

Our big initiative on September 16th is an Art Show & Sale, celebrating the beauty of the park and the wonderful arts community in Georgetown. This poster describes the event. The event is now on September 30 due to Hurricane Lee .
