SEARCH connects older folks with community volunteers in our community. Volunteers bring skills, enthusiasm, and companionship to their lives while assisting with a variety of support services:
Friendly visitation and companionship
Helping folks with appointments/errands and grocery shopping
Assistance with some in-home tasks/projects
Doing socialization activities together
Help with correspondence/forms
Help with yard work
Referral to other services & programs when needed.

Oasis Free Clinics are the only clinics in Midcoast Maine offering free medical and dental services to those who have no health insurance and cannot afford to pay for care.
In-Home Support Services
These services can include hygiene, mobility, feeding, companionship, laundry, light housekeeping, shopping, medication reminders and more. Services and costs vary among providers.
